The Painted Knees, starring Lisa Warner and Limelight Liz, hail from Indianapolis, Indiana. These best friends are heavily influenced by the art deco and nouveau eras and are convinced they were flapper showgirls together in a past life. They are known for their theatricality and love laughing their way through any situation. Liz and Lisa are always finding creative endeavors to collaborate on: whether is dance or crafting, these two always have something going to keep them busy.
Half of the Gemini Butterfly Sisters duo, Liz has been a member of local belly dance groups since falling in love with the dance in 2004. She has performed at many events over the years including the Portage County Cultural Festival, and the Belly Bumper car show. She currently dances with the group Stellarani.
